Takeaways from 25 Years!

I am beginning the 26th year of my consulting business focusing on Sales Management and Coaching!!!
Here are some absolutes about salespeople and selling that I have collected from my coaching practice:

1) Salespeople fail if they don't prospect enough - you can't get complacent when you have built up a good book of business because you will encounter attrition- FOR SURE!!
2) REALLY take care of your current clients so that competition can't sneak in there and steal your market share.
3) Continue to hone your skills and learn about your industry so you are a trusted advisor.
4) Balance is important, but you must put in enough time to grow and build your business.
5) We have to be ready to adapt and reinvent ourselves- can you say ‘Covid’?!

What it takes!
Here are some skills that are necessary to be a consummate, dynamic, evolving salesperson. You need to possess skills that set you apart in the world of relationship selling. There seems to be much more that is required of salespeople today to keep revenues up, customers happy and attract new clients.
